Super Pave Cold Mix Patch is the first and only Cold Mix Patch to be
produced using the world famous Trinidad Lake Asphalt (T.L.A)
Super Pave Cold Mix Patch is produced by tested and proven formulations.
Super Pave Cold Mix Patch, can be produced to be used at specific times,
(i.e shelf life) e.g. 3 days, 7 days, 1 month, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months,
24 months or any required time period that the user requires.

Super Pave Cold Mix Patch may become stiff after lengthy storage..
This is normal and will not adversely affect the mix. Whenever this happens an ordinary masonry trowel is used take the material out from the bucket it is then separated
using the trowel. This will loosen the material to a workable consistency. Caution must be taken when using Super Pave Cold Mix Patch. It is recommended that gloves, goggles and where appropriate dust masks are used.

Patch, there are other economic and social benefits that can be derived by the
use of this product. Here are a few:

1. The shelf life of this product is greater than the regular type Asphalt Mixes
2. Because of the greater shelf life of this product, roads in remote areas which are
inaccessible to large road paving equipment can be repaired by taking small
amounts of the Super Pave Cold Mix Patch to successfully conduct repairs.
3. If during day’s work there are interruptions due to rain or excessive traffic etc. ,
the remaining Super Pave Cold Mix Patch that is already on site can be covered
or left uncovered, and used when work resumes.
Superpave mix design is a structured approach consisting of the following four steps:
1. selection of materials,
2. selection of design aggregate structure,
3. selection of design asphalt binder content, and
4. evaluation of moisture susceptibility.
